Danny Williams
Danny Williams worked the 6 to 9 AM morning shift on KTSA
in the early 1950s. Even though he was competing against the
number one national morning show at the time, “The Breakfast Club,” Danny
had good ratings.
In the afternoon, Danny returned as “Uncle Dan” for a
daily children’s program. Danny told stories voicing each of the
characters.
On Sunday Mornings, the comics in the Express News came to
life via Danny's character voices.
Danny, active in radio for 7 decades, retired
from his highly rated daily morning show on KOMA in Oklahoma City in August
2008.
