Charlie Van writes that he has taken over programming at KITY-FM San Antonio and changed the format from Modern Country to Easy MOR. "I also have the programming responsibilities for WIGL-FM in Miami due to go on the air later this year." The staff at KITY includes Jim Ridgeway 6-10 AM, myself until noon, B. Bailey Brown noon-3 PM, Ted Stecker 3-7 PM, Paul Kirby 7-midnight and Ed Hernandez until 6 AM.

Editors Notes: Both B. Bailey Brown and Paul Kirby 'survived' the KITY format change from Modern Country to Easy MOR (Middle of the Road). Furthermore Paul Kirby had previously 'survived' the KITY format change from Adult Contemporary (Stereo Island) to Modern Country.

Additionally, within months, both B. Bailey Brown and Paul Kirby would no longer be on the air at KITY, but back playing Country on KKYX.
